What Is BrandJet?

Despite the name suggesting something related to branding, BrandJet is actually a cold outreach platform with a bunch of additional tools bundled in. You get campaigns for automated multichannel outreach, a CRM for tracking your leads, a lead finder for building your pipeline, and social monitoring to track brand mentions across platforms.

The pitch is straightforward: find warm conversations happening online about your industry, then reach out across email, LinkedIn, X, WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, and Reddit — all from one dashboard. It's currently available as a lifetime deal on AppSumo starting at $69.

I spent time testing every feature in detail, and while there's a lot to like here, there are also some rough edges worth knowing about before you buy.

Account Setup and Onboarding

BrandJet Accounts page showing connected email and LinkedIn accounts with status indicators, warmup settings, and daily sending limits
The Accounts page in BrandJet lets you connect and manage email, LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp, and other channels for multi-platform outreach.

When you first create a BrandJet account, you'll connect your email and social accounts. They support Google, Outlook, and SMTP for email, plus LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp, X/Twitter, Telegram, and Reddit for social channels.

The onboarding flow has you enter your domain name, and BrandJet's AI researches your brand to figure out who you're trying to reach. It generates a summary of your business and ideal customer profile, then actually finds initial leads on LinkedIn for you.

The concept is slick, but the execution needs work. When I tested it with AppSumo as an example, the AI described who the end users are rather than who AppSumo would actually want to cold outreach (software founders, not LTD buyers). The good news is you can edit the description and goals — some tools lock you into their AI-generated profile, and BrandJet doesn't.

One limitation: the goal selector only offers three options — get them on a call, try the product, or get your name out there. A customizable field would serve users much better since not everyone's goal fits those buckets.

Lead Finder

BrandJet Lead Finder showing search results with a list of contacts including names, companies, emails, and locations filtered by job title and industry
The Lead Finder returns detailed contact profiles with verified emails, company info, and job titles from a database of millions of professionals.

The lead finder works like a simplified version of LinkedIn Sales Navigator. You can search by job title, name, email domain, city, company size, industry, and LinkedIn details. Results come back as LinkedIn profiles with blurred email addresses.

Revealing an email costs two credits, and saving a contact to a list costs an additional credit. On tier four, you get 15,000 credits, but the entry-level plan only comes with 1,000. When those run out, you can buy more — ranging from about 1.5 cents each for 500 credits down to under a penny each for 50,000.

You can save searches for later, which is helpful if you have complex filter sets you want to reuse. Contacts can be added directly to lead lists or dropped straight into a campaign. The email addresses looked authentic in my testing, and you're essentially getting this lead data without needing an expensive Sales Navigator subscription.

Campaign Builder

BrandJet visual campaign automation builder showing a multi-step sequence with LinkedIn invitation, rejected and accepted branching paths, and follow-up messaging
The visual automation builder supports branching logic with accepted/rejected paths, timed delays, and multi-step LinkedIn outreach sequences.

Building outreach campaigns in BrandJet follows a four-step process: gather leads, choose accounts, build the sequence, and launch. The sequence builder uses an infinite canvas where you chain together actions like profile visits, post reactions, connection invites, and messages.

The automation builder itself is surprisingly smooth. You can set delays between actions, create branching logic based on responses (accepted vs. rejected connection requests), and mix channels within a single campaign. If someone rejects your LinkedIn invite, you could automatically follow up via email instead.

What's missing is templates. When you first open the campaign builder, you're starting from a blank slate. BrandJet offered me a meeting to help set up my first campaign, but I'd much rather have some ready-made templates showing recommended sequences for common scenarios. That said, once you're inside the message editor, there are some basic message templates available.

One UI note: the action list in the builder could use better categorization. Initial outreach actions and conditional/technical actions are mixed together, and it's not immediately clear which is which.

Campaign Settings and Compliance

BrandJet campaign settings showing email tracking toggles for opens, clicks, and unsubscribes, UTM tracking configuration, and GDPR and CAN-SPAM compliance options
Campaign settings include email tracking, UTM parameter configuration, and built-in GDPR and CAN-SPAM compliance toggles to keep outreach legally compliant.

Each campaign has scheduling options — run immediately or schedule for the future, choose specific days of the week, respect recipient time zones, and set maximum new leads per day. You can also prioritize new leads over scheduled follow-ups.

The email settings have a notable limitation: stopping conditions are single-select rather than multi-select. So you can stop sending if someone replies OR if they click a link, but not both. That feels like an oversight.

Other useful features include provider matching (sends from Gmail to Gmail recipients, Outlook to Outlook), email tracking toggles, UTM tracking for analytics, and GDPR/CAN-SPAM compliance options. The compliance toggle adds an unsubscribe link — though as I noted in the video, having an unsubscribe link doesn't automatically make unsolicited emails legal. Check with an actual professional on that one.

Inbox and CRM

BrandJet unified inbox interface with sidebar categories including Inbox, Sent, Unread, Starred, and AI-categorized folders for Interested, Not Interested, and Out of Office leads
The unified inbox automatically categorizes replies as Interested, Not Interested, or Out of Office, with an AI-powered Artemis assistant for managing conversations.

The inbox shows only responses to your campaigns, not all emails from connected accounts. This is actually the right approach — you don't want your entire Gmail flooding into BrandJet. You get inbox, sent, unread, and starred views, plus the ability to categorize contacts as interested, not interested, or out of office.

There's a snippets feature for reusable message fragments, which saves time when responding to similar inquiries. Think of them as quick-reply shortcuts you can drop into any message.

The CRM is basic but functional. You can track leads through stages (new, contacted, qualified, proposal, won, lost), assign leads to team members, set status flags, and view a timeline of all interactions. Clicking on a contact shows their full profile with notes, conversations, and engagement history. It won't replace Salesforce, but for small teams running cold outreach, it covers the essentials.

Social Monitoring and Mentions

BrandJet Mentions Feed showing live statistics, actionable signals metrics for leads and pain points, 24-hour activity trend chart, and social platform icons for X, Reddit, YouTube, and LinkedIn
The Mentions Feed monitors brand mentions across X, Reddit, YouTube, LinkedIn, and RSS feeds, surfacing actionable signals and buyer intent in real time.

This is where BrandJet really differentiates itself from typical cold outreach tools. The mentions feature monitors keywords across X, LinkedIn, news feeds, TikTok, YouTube, and Reddit.

Setting it up is straightforward — BrandJet suggests 20 keywords based on your brand, though I hit a CSS bug where some keywords were hidden off-screen. There's also a cap of 10 exact keywords despite the system generating 20, which felt inconsistent. Once configured, mentions start flowing in within a couple minutes.

The results are ranked by buying signals, pain points, and general discussions. You can view mentions, reply directly from the interface, and add people to your lead lists. With 144 mentions showing up almost immediately in my test, there's clearly useful data here.

The standout feature is the sentiment analysis, which uses AI to detect the tone of brand mentions. Worth noting: this is locked to tier four, which is really the only feature-level reason to upgrade beyond getting higher limits.

Competitor Tracking and AI Monitoring

BrandJet AI Monitoring page with a template selection dialog offering Organic Search, Search Queries, Brand Mentions, Sentiment Analysis, Crisis Monitoring, Competitor Analysis, Customer Feedback, and Industry Trends monitors
AI Monitoring offers pre-built templates for tracking organic search visibility, brand sentiment, competitor activity, and industry trends alongside custom monitor creation.

You can add competitors by domain name and BrandJet will monitor their mentions across Reddit, X, YouTube, and RSS. This is basic competitive intelligence that lets you see what people are saying about your competitors and potentially engage with those conversations.

AI monitoring takes things further and is available on tiers three and four. You can create monitors for organic search, brand mentions, sentiment analysis, crisis monitoring, competitor analysis, customer feedback, and industry trends — or build custom monitors.

The crisis monitoring option is particularly interesting. You can track whether a competitor is dealing with backlash or security issues in real time. For anyone managing brand reputation, having this baked into the same tool you use for outreach is genuinely convenient.

AI Assistant (Artemis) and Agents

BrandJet AI Agents page with a Select Agent Type dialog showing Mention Reply for automatic social responses and Lead Collector for capturing leads from mentions, with Artemis assistant visible in the sidebar
AI Agents automate lead collection and mention replies across social platforms, with the Artemis assistant available throughout the app for natural-language commands.

Artemis is BrandJet's AI assistant that has access to your entire account. It can import leads to campaigns, build outreach sequences on your behalf, and give specific advice based on your actual data rather than generic tips.

It's BYOK (bring your own key), though you can use the initial credits provided with your account. In my testing, I asked Artemis to build a full LinkedIn outreach campaign, and it created the campaign structure, identified my existing lead list, and walked me through connecting LinkedIn.

There are also two AI agents: mention replies (auto-responds to brand mentions) and lead collector (automatically adds people from social mentions to your lead lists). The mention reply agent feels a bit risky to me — automated social media responses can go sideways quickly. The lead collector is more practical and lower risk.

LinkedIn Connection Issues

I ran into problems connecting LinkedIn via the standard credentials route. My connection kept showing as pending, and BrandJet support confirmed the issue and said they'd fix it during my recording session.

The workaround is connecting via browser cookies instead of credentials. You log into LinkedIn, open developer tools, find the li_at cookie, and paste it into BrandJet. Less secure since cookies bypass two-factor authentication, but it worked on the first try.

Once connected, BrandJet has built-in rate limits — max 40 interactions per day and 2 per hour for connections, messages, profile visits, and reactions. These limits exist to protect your LinkedIn account from getting flagged, which is a smart default.

Pricing and Which Tier to Buy

Tier three is the sweet spot for most people. You get unlimited emails, AI search monitoring, brand monitoring, and all the core features. Tiers one and two have lower email limits and miss the AI monitoring and brand monitoring features.

Tier four adds advanced sentiment analysis and higher limits on everything (accounts, keywords, credits). On my tier four account, I got 6 brands and 15,000 lead credits. The deal page doesn't clearly list how many brands each tier includes, so ask in the AppSumo Q&A if that matters to you.

If you need more than the included lead credits, pricing is reasonable — under a penny per credit at volume. And if it doesn't work out, AppSumo's 60-day refund policy has you covered.

Final Verdict

BrandJet is a legitimately impressive platform that packs a lot into a single tool. The social monitoring alone would be a solid value as a standalone product, and layering cold outreach, CRM, and lead finding on top makes it a compelling all-in-one package.

If you're new to cold outreach, BrandJet is a particularly good entry point. The AI assistant Artemis gives you specific guidance based on your actual account data rather than generic advice, and the automation builder is approachable without being oversimplified. For experienced outreach operators, the social monitoring angle adds a dimension you probably aren't getting from your current tools.

There are rough edges — the onboarding AI needs tuning, campaign templates are missing, the LinkedIn credentials connection was flaky, and a few UI quirks need attention. But for a tool that's been on AppSumo just a few days, the foundation is solid. I'm giving BrandJet a 7.3 out of 10.
